found it

(written by an anonymous poet)

composition #1
Strange days have come
strange days have gone

am i the one

to take the pawn?

am i the queen

to rule the board?

or the just knight
with piece to hoard?

i shall not be

a king that sleeps
never to bleed
until the end

why not a rook?

No! i must defend!
the bishop, wise

careful each step

strengthens the ties.

The Storm Of Roses
by Ingeborg Bachmann

Wherever we turn in the storm of roses,

the night is lit up by thorns, and the thunder

of leaves, once so quiet within the bushes,

rumbling at our heels.

Poem #

A poem on rain...
  Rain, rain
  down the drain
  rain, rain
  cat's bane
  rain, rain
  gave little gain
  but growing insane.

Poem # 14

Sorry that I haven't blogged in a while. But anyway, here goes.

Orea
Slain by the merchant's hand,
she was.
Slain by the one she loved,
she was.
Slain by her own blindness,
she was.
The ghost of Orea stands,
yes.
due to the merchant's hand,
that man.
in keeping her from eating,
oh.
the fruits of the dead,
no.
that taketh her soul.

The Color of Seasons

Poetry: by Yumi Tavera

Graveyard

"Neither flame nor flesh is left of the dead,
As the pit of my stomach is filled with dread,
The life and the love that filled their head,
Already gone from what they´ve said,
No thought not a sound from their stony bed,
Just cards and flowers faded and shed."

Tick tock...

These past few weeks have been horrendous! So much work in so little time...
I have discovered several new things:
Singers: Laura Izibor(20) and Grayson Chance(13) These people can be found on Youtube. LOOK THEM UP! You will not regret it.
I have completed my song on the piano and I need help on the title... Any ideas?
My book is going slowly but steadily. (Okay, really slow.)
Look up Snorgtees.com It really is funny.

Poem:
Ferahgo was a thief,
he conquered many fiefs
until, one day
as the crow would say
comes a badger in white
oh, what a sight...
She comes to save Redwall!
the ancient place in ruins
just like the shroud of Turin

Not very good, but I have recently read a book called Salamandastron (Brian Jaques)
where the sequel to the Long Patrol shows everything in ruins. It¨s very sad.

The smallest island in the world...

There is a place called Bishop's rock off the coast of England. It is considered the smallest island in the world because all it is is a lighthouse.

Who?

Jessi (Mikey's cousin) called me on the phone from the airport (They're headed home to the states... I was so jealous of the cool trip) screaming "OMG! OMG! Turn on your TV to Nickelodeon it's Justin Bieber!" I was like "Who?" "On the Nick choice awards! He's so cute! And he's Canadian!" Why does that matter to me? I thought.
"Jess, I'm not even Canadian, remenber?" (I had moved to Vancouver about four years ago) All of a sudden I hear a crackling sound and Mikey's on the phone. "Sorry about that, Jessi's a Bieber fan."
I honestly don't understand the excitement of getting someone's messy handwriting on a piece of random clothing, paper, or helmet. (Don't ask) That was my third most wierdest phone call ever...

Hello?

Today was wierd.

My dad had called me at home because my mom had left her jacket from a visit earlier.
He needed me to drop it off tommorow.
I agreed.
He hung up.
Then I realized that my mom had left her purse as well. (mom... that's her)
I assumed my dad would remember as well and waited paitently for his phone call.
The phone rang.
I answered.
"Hello?"
"Hello 'mam, I am calling about your morgage, It is extremely important that you do not hang up."
"What?"
"Oh, I'm sorry are you in a busy time?"
In a what????
"Oh, yes! Yes, I am very busy right now. Uh. Can you call me some other time?"
"Of course 'mam I appologize for the inconvenience."
"Uh. Yeah. Thanks."
"Have a nice day 'mam."
"Yes. Thank you."
I hung up.

This was the wierdest thing that has ever happened to me. (I know, I kind of boring...)

Book.

Mikey said I should blog about my book, so here goes.
I am doing surprisingly well and I am on my 57th page, so I'm kind of excited.
Tell you what, let me show you a bit of it so you can tell me what you think.

As I put the last cat flower in one of the niches of the grave, I heard a scream. Oh, no. I turned around. A girl with a basket was staring at my wings which had become free of the makeshift cape.

"Will you keep it down? I'm already leaving." I said quietly. The girl screamed again. I moaned, then punched her as hard as I could. She collapsed, falling just in time for me to see a few villagers march up the hill with pitchforks.

A boy was leading the group. As soon as he caught sight of the girl on the ground, he froze, shocked. The villagers behind him slowed. His face changed from shock to fury. He ran up the rest of the way, leaving a large space between him and the others. By then I had hidden myself behind a large tombstone. By then he was close enough for me to see his face. It looked like...

"Sergei?" I asked. He glared at me.

"How could you do this? This was my sister!" What had happened to him that made him hate me so?

" She was screaming. It would have given my position away and made it all the harder for you and your family. Besides, I only knocked her out." I said, trying to calm him down.

He sighed."You could have told me you were staying here." He pointed out.

" I only wanted to see if you were safe. I have to leave, and when I leave, I won't be coming back." I said.

"Can you at least tell me where you're going?" Sergei asked pleadingly. "No." I said, a bitter edge in my voice. He heard it.

"Of course not." He sighed. "Best of luck Meera."

He stepped back, allowing me sufficient space to fly off.

I was partly releived, partly hurt. Sergei wasn't going to stop me, but did he want to stop me? Didn't he care about me enough to make me stay? Trying to keep the hurt from my face, I walked out from behind the stone and started to walk away.

Well, what do you think? Comment!
