Book.

Mikey said I should blog about my book, so here goes.
I am doing surprisingly well and I am on my 57th page, so I'm kind of excited.
Tell you what, let me show you a bit of it so you can tell me what you think.

As I put the last cat flower in one of the niches of the grave, I heard a scream. Oh, no. I turned around. A girl with a basket was staring at my wings which had become free of the makeshift cape.

"Will you keep it down? I'm already leaving." I said quietly. The girl screamed again. I moaned, then punched her as hard as I could. She collapsed, falling just in time for me to see a few villagers march up the hill with pitchforks.

A boy was leading the group. As soon as he caught sight of the girl on the ground, he froze, shocked. The villagers behind him slowed. His face changed from shock to fury. He ran up the rest of the way, leaving a large space between him and the others. By then I had hidden myself behind a large tombstone. By then he was close enough for me to see his face. It looked like...

"Sergei?" I asked. He glared at me.

"How could you do this? This was my sister!" What had happened to him that made him hate me so?

" She was screaming. It would have given my position away and made it all the harder for you and your family. Besides, I only knocked her out." I said, trying to calm him down.

He sighed."You could have told me you were staying here." He pointed out.

" I only wanted to see if you were safe. I have to leave, and when I leave, I won't be coming back." I said.

"Can you at least tell me where you're going?" Sergei asked pleadingly. "No." I said, a bitter edge in my voice. He heard it.

"Of course not." He sighed. "Best of luck Meera."

He stepped back, allowing me sufficient space to fly off.

I was partly releived, partly hurt. Sergei wasn't going to stop me, but did he want to stop me? Didn't he care about me enough to make me stay? Trying to keep the hurt from my face, I walked out from behind the stone and started to walk away.

Well, what do you think? Comment!

Runaway Toilette Paper

Today I had to find toilette paper.
My dog Daniel found toilette paper in the bathroom, pulled it out of the cabinet, and ran off with it in his mouth. Normally I would think that was funny, but he tore the wrapping around it off and drooled all over it before I even knew what was going on...

Quote

My friend (not Mikey) heard me say something over the phone, wrote it down, and started advertising the "amazingness" of it all over her school. If you go to her school, tell her to stop quoting me!
By the way, here's the quote.
"Those who remember now, die trying to forget. Those who forget now, die remembering they forgot."
Not that easy to remember, but it was a spur of a moment idea.
My book is not going well, but yesterday I had a brainstorm and wrote about 3 pages so I'm at least trying.

Word of the Day...

Today's word is Tomorrow.
Yesterday's today.
Tomorrow's yesterday.
(Actually, all of them are steadfast.)
Do you get it?

Valentine Sayings

There are some really good sayings and quotes that I found recently. These particular words refer to Valentine's Day.
"If music be the food of love, play on."
Shakespeare
"Love is like an hourglass, while the heart filling up, the brain empties."
Jules Reynard
"Love is the only emotion that hurts the most, needs the most, and is wanted the most."
Yumi Tavera
Can you guys comment with a Valentine quote?

Writing......

Guess what?
(What?)
I'm writing a book. My friend (Mikey) convinced me that I need to "vent" a little of my "writing skill" and "show it to the world!" Her words, not mine. The thing is, I don't have a writing skill that's good enough to be published. So, I'm just writing for fun. It's supposed to snow again, but that's okay. I need a break.

Joy

I was kind of happy/sad today s oI wrote 2 almost completely opposite poems. Here goes...

"We have joy, Joy joy, In the African Plains  of our minds,
We have joy. Joy joy, In our every thought, That we’ve got
When in pain, We must embrace, That awful place In our mind
So we can have, Joy."
-YT

"Child- Oh mother, you are dead.
You won't get up from bed.
The storm came, the storm went,
then black Death had been sent,
to take you from your home,
I am left all alone,
an orphan. None claim me
as their own. As  I walk the
death walk.
People- Our hearts, they break
at the dying breath
that the child takes.
Desecrated ground,
now not a sound.
The plague that taketh she,
pray not taketh me."

Blizzards, Cookies, and Sayings

Today, I did three things.
Yelled at the weather for being so darn mean sometimes.(My first time)
Yelled at my empty cookie cabinet for not having cookies, and at the weather for not letting me go buy some.
Yelled at my dad because he thought he could go battle the blizzard with only jeans and a jacket.
"Bravery and common sense don't always come together!" If I were any younger he would ground me. He laughed, and walked outside.
What a beautiful saying. (Do not try at home!!!)
(This picture is from Blab.com)
When I don't have chocolate I get stressed and start yelling. (Notice above) So I ended up making some delicious chocolate chip cookies. (And I didn't burn them!)

Follow

Have you ever heard of the saying, "I am my own follower."
Well, I am my own follower, literally. I "follow" my blog.
I am now following another blog; the "House in Marrakesh"
It's very interesting, and it also has lots of pictures.
I say it's a blog worth following...

Mayo

Hi everyone! Me again.
I went to Six Flags with my cousin and I saw this really cool advertisement for mayonnaise.
The ad went "Don't be so mayo, buy Hellman's."
I, like, HATE mayo, so that was the PERFECT saying that I could adopt.
So now, every time someone starts to act all boring I say: "Don't be so mayo."
This is the biggest picture that I could find.
Adios!
;)

Snow

Ah... snow!
I love snow. There's snow on the ground, snow on the trees, and snow in the air!
I drew a picture of a tree's branches right outside the window. My poor dog needs a coat because every time he comes from outside, he's shaking like a leaf. Poor guy...
